And thanks for the words.. Allah bless you.

And I would like to promote FCR to everyone. Approach me personally to know more. It will help in strengthening your Aqidah InsyaAllah. Believe me.

Rabbi yusahhil.

"M" IS FOR MARCH & MOURNE

Pameran "Seni" Hina Islam di Sepanyol
Picture: credits to Berita Harian Online

Mari selusuri satu persatu peristiwa March 2010.

1. Kartun Hina Nabi --> Sinar Harian
Berulang sekali lagi. Apa perasaan kita? Apa tindakan kita? Boikot produk Sweden?

2. Baitulmaqdis, Palestine --> palestinkini.info
Tanah suci kita sekali lagi dicemari kaki kotor zionis laknatullahi alaihim. Kenapa? Intifadhah ke3 bakal meletus. Kita di mana?

3. 12 Mac --> Berita Harian
Mahkamah Ipoh memberikan hak penjagaan anak seorang muallaf Ridhuan Abdullah kepada isterinya yang masih belum Islam. Doakan moga dia pula diberi hidayah. 2 anak Ridhuan diserahkan kepada ibu mereka. Hanya seorang yang tinggal bersama Ridhuan. Kes sebegini sepatutnya dihakimi di Mahkamah Syariah kerana membabitkan agama Islam. Apakan nasib. Kita mempunyai sistem kehakiman yang bersifat dualiti. Kisah Natrah bakal berulang. Kita tidak mengambil tahu kerana dia seorang muallaf. Betul kan?

4. 17303 --> Berita Harian

5. Chupp!! Coca-Cola --> lambaian-islah.blogspot

6. Legalizing Sports Betting --> Yahoo!News Bernama
Ape cerita???

POLITIK YG BUSUK

Members of Parliament to be InsyaAllah..
bringing back old memories..IIUM Interschool Debate 2006

That's what Ibu always tell me when there's an outbreak in Malaysian politics. She would say, "Politics is dirty. Don't indulge in it". But I wonder, is it really that Politics must be dirty or Politicians and their people are the one who are dirty and dirties the course. Ibu will always tell me the same thing again and again. Maybe because she can see that I'm really interested in Politics. Maybe one day I'll be a politician myself.hahah. I'm only interested in the Parliamentary Debate actually. I'm a debater myself, what do you expect??

Malaysian Politics, my stance, I disapprove both government and opposition parties for my own personal reasons. But I respect both parties for some reasons too. If I really am going to run for elections, I'm gonna run on free ticket I guess. Or set up a new party and be the president.brouhaha. I don't know if I should be saying this here though. And this is not the purpose of this post.

The rest of this post will be in Malay. Dua post sebelum ni dah dalam English. So enough of English for the mean time. Oops.. Jadi cukuplah Bahasa Inggeris buat sementara waktu.

ETIKA ANGGOTA PARLILMEN

1. Menyokong Kebenaran dan Kebaikan
Pernah terjadi, tahunnya tidak pasti, pengerusi Barisan Nasional Supporters' Club [BNSC], "meletak jawatan" kerana menyokong utk membahaskan usul yg dikemukakan pembangkang.

Pemimpin sebegini kita cari.

3. later I guess..

~~~~~~~
[March 23, 2010], 5 Al-amin students were chosen to represent Kajang Zone for football. Like Keyrana said "good to hear Alamin is improving. :)". And debaters are now focussing on IIUM Inter-school Debate Tournament. Training hard. I hope so.
Currently staying at home. There's still another 2 months to finish my holidays. Sebab tu jugak la kot rajin sikit update blog bulan ni.hehe. dah post ke3 rupanya. Jarang dapat post sampai lebih dua kali dalam sebulan.
Pretty much of things is happening around us currently.. Which mostly tears apart my heart when I hear it. Palestine... Legalising betting?? ladidadida...
DATO' C Q TEO DEBATE
It's a bit blurry.but I think you should be able to figure each of them out.
picture: credits to Sharifah Rabi'atul Adawiyah [not in picture]
It had been a long week for me. Helping my juniors with debate training and becoming a volunteer for Al-Amin's Sports Week. I'm blackened by the sun!hohoh. Moga segala sesuatu yang dilakukan diterima sebagai satu amal di jalan Allah.
We have just finished our first debate tournament this year - Kolej Damasara Utama's Dato' C. Q. Teo Debate Challenge 2010 from 12-14March. To me these Al-Aminians did really great, especially those first timers. It was a great opportunity to grab a learning experience. They really did better than me in their very first tournament and I'm proud of them. If you girls and guys read this, I really mean it, down from my heart.
It was really fun spending time 'hanging out' with you lot. It was like living the dreams I didn't get the chance to when I was back in school.haha. And you guys even made me missed England a lot more.huhu. I hope I can get back there to finish off my Masters Degree and PhD.
Postman Pat.Thomas the Tank Engine.Dennis the Menace.Fireman Sam.our childhood memories.hahahah.
The list of Al-Amin debaters for KDU Tournament:
First Team (3wins 2losses)
1. Solehah Badrul [F2]
2. Umar Abdul Aziz [F5]
3. Raihan Abu Bakar [F5]
Second Team (1win 4losses.ngeh3)
1. Najihah Abu Bakar [F1]
2. Basyirah [F4]
3. Luqman Saiful [F4]
Observers (cameramen and 'loud' supporters)
Khairi Hamim [F5]
Luqman Hakim [F3]
Adawiyah [F4]
Dalilah [F?]
Izdiha [F1]
One thing that really cheered me up despite that many losses is that seeing them growing up and becoming better from time to time. Especially Solehah, Umar and Raihan. Solehah would be the one who progressed the most. Maybe because of the pressure being in the first team with Raihan and Umar.
I believe the other team progressed a lot too. Despite the cries behind the losses and fear.haha. I didn't get the chance to watch them during the tournament as I was with the first team. But what I know is that they get braver and better from time to time. Especially Najihah and Basyirah. Luqman also went humorous from time to time with lots of crazy ideas and speeches during the debate which we will laugh off at during the end of the day. A thing is that Luqman was also once announced the best speaker of the round. Congratulations I guess.
For full First Team results, click here--> Raihan's blog
For full Second Team results, click here--> Basyirah's blog (you must have her permission first)
addition, one girl from Sri KDU B which Team A went against--> Tiffany Khoo
I also believe that we deserve more wins than some others teams. I really feel we were much better than some of the quarter-finalists and we were much deserved to be there. But Allah knows best for sure. I hope we will do better in IIUM Inter-school Debate and MUSLEH International Debate. InsyaAllah..
The KDU Debate Challenge was full of Chinese and Indians and not many Malays around. What impresses me is that they were being very polite and friendly unlike many Malay Muslims. I don't know why. But I think they will make better daies with that kind of attitude. Even though the debate was really heated up, they would come to us afterwards and offer friendship. Not many Malay Muslims would do this I guess. We are much more into grudges rather than brotherhood ties. The time has came for us to forget our egos and to get down with our work.
I pray for a better future for all of us.
And for these great debaters.hope u will never stop progressing.keep fighting!
Solehah.Umar.Raihan.Najihah.Basyirah.Luqman Sr.Atikah.Luqman Jr.Adawiyah.Izdiha.Dalilah.
Err..Thanks to Luqman's perents (Pakcik Saiful & Aunty) for the Nasi Beraiani Dinner.It was great.TQ.May Allah bless both of you.
"The Kite Runner"
I just finished reading that above novel last night. It's a well told story by Khalid Hosseini with good plots and many cliches. If I was not asked to read it,certainly I won't have read it. Not of genres that I would even consider borrowing. However,when I read it,I find it a bit interesting and made me read to the last page. Here's a short review on the novel;
First thing that came to my mind when I started reading the novel is Umar alKhattab's sayings.. "didiklah anakmu sesuai dengan zamannya.jangan didiknya sebagaimana kamu dididik kerana dia dan kamu datang dari dua zaman yg berbeza". A father shouldn't expect too much of his son and and put pressure on his son to become just like him. At last he will be the one regretting. Then I also feel that the way Islam is pictured in the novel can create wrong assumptions towards the real Islamic teachings to those who don't have Islamic basics.. Beyond that, the storyline was good.
I'm also shocked and felt hilarious that Malaysia is actually mentioned in the final chapter. On the last page if I'm not mistaken. Only a few lines though. And I don't know if it's the truth or just a story.
I don't know if Bilal has another perspective of viewing the story. I always believe that reading the original novel is far much better than watching the movie. Bilal,feel free to comment and to through your thoughts!
